Click on a “Topic Title” to view a message’s full thread or the “Last Action” view only the last reply posted. From within a topic thread, you can view the original post at the top and all replies made after that posting.
Posting messages
Choose the post you would like to reply to and click on the “Reply” button at the bottom right hand corner of that post. This will take you to WYSIWYG editor for writing your own message. A quote will automatically be inserted from the message you are replying to. This enables viewers to refer back to the content of the discussion. You can delete parts of the quote or the entire quote. There are many features to use on this page, including icons and emoticons, email notification of replies to your message, upload of attachments, live hyperlink creation, and pinning or moving topics.
To post a new message, click on the MonsterSmallBusiness logo at the top of any screen. Choose the forum category in which you would like to post your message. Next, choose a sub forum, and then click on “New Topic”, an icon that appears at the top right hand side of the topic listings. For more information, view the Message Help Screen.
Polls
Polls can be used to track user preferences for any topic you choose by asking them to cast a vote. You will want to be specific in the title and description of the poll. The polls work much like posting a message to the forums using the WYSIWYG editor, but enable you to list multiple choices. The results from a poll that has been live can be displayed by choosing a null vote at any time. This will show how many votes have been cast and the percentage of total votes that were given for each choice.
To post a new poll, click on the MonsterSmallBusiness logo at the top of any screen. Choose the forum category you would like to post your message in. Next, choose a sub forum, and then click on “New Poll”, an icon that appears only at the top right of topic listings that have polling enabled.
Search
A search feature is available at the bottom left hand corner of all forum pages. You can also click on “Search” at the top right of any forum page which provides you with more advanced search features.
Browse through the other categories to the left of the control panel screen to further customize your settings or view the Forum Help screen for more information about the control panel.
Pinned Topics
You may also see a “Pinned” topic at the top of a category. Pinning a topic will cause that message thread to be kept at the top of its category. Usually this is performed to point out a hot topic or important announcement.
