MonsterSmallBusiness Forum: Etiquette Tips

Forums can be a very helpful and fun tool to use, and the wealth of information and ideas on the MonsterCommerce forums is vast. With roughly 3,000 registered members and over 62,000 total posts and climbing, the opportunities are endless for the future of the MonsterSmallBusiness forum. The MC staff strives to ensure that the forum remains a peaceful environment where all are made to feel free to voice their concerns and insights. In order to do this, all users need to follow a code of conduct. To keep your posting techniques ethical and appropriate, please read through the guidelines below. Many of these are part of the terms and conditions that you agree to when you register.

  1. Do not post any material that is knowingly false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violates any law.
  2. Do not post copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this bulletin board.
  3. Commercial advertising is not allowed in the forums.
  4. Links to internal MonsterCommerce pages are allowed to be entered in profile signatures.
  5. Do not send unsolicited spam messages through PM, email or posts.
  6. Do not use vague or misleading subjects for your postings. Be descriptive and specific.
  7. Always be sure to p ost your topic in the appropriate forum channel, and do not post the same content in more than one channel.

Problems and Complaints
Do you have something very pressing to say? Do you have a problem or concern that you would like an answer to? A forum post should not have the intent to flag the attention of an MC team member. Please call us, or use MyMonsterCommerce.com to contact technical support if you have an emergency issue such as your Web site being down.

If you need support from a MonsterCommerce team member, please call technical support at 800-353-6582 or place a ticket through your admin panel or at http://my.monstercommerce.com. Also, try kb.monstercommerce.com, the MonsterCommerce Knowledge Base. You can attempt to see if your issue has been addressed in the forums by using the search feature at the top of any forum page.

The MonsterSmallBusiness forum has been live now for over a year. In that time, the company has come a long way. We have adapted to changes in the industry and enabled our services to extend into new and innovative techniques for contributing to their overall success. All along the way, the forum has acted as a log of events, feelings and reactions. But above all, it has become a resource of information, overflowing with tips, techniques and helpful suggestions. We hope that you’ll take advantage of this tool and the knowledge it holds and enjoy doing so for years to come.
