  1. What is your favorite feature about your site right now?
    Our favorite feature is the catalog generator (search engine optimizer plugin). After activating this feature, we noticed a significant increase in both traffic and sales. What a great search engine friendly way to promote individual products.

  2. What was one major obstacle to your store's success, and how did you overcome it?
    Because the online skin care and beauty product space is so competitive, we wanted our site to look as professional as the sites of our major competitors. But we didn’t have the resources of a large corporation! The MonsterCommerce Dataport feature allowed us to quickly standardize the presentation of our inventory without spending countless hours and dollars on data entry and web design.

  3. To what do you attribute most of your site's success?
    Our site is successful because of the rich content that we developed to support it. Providing proprietary information not only is a value-added service to our clients, but it also is rewarded by the search engines. The more our site provides, the better our site’s ranking and relevance, which helps our customers find our products.

  4. What is the best or most rewarding experience you've had so far with selling online?
    Selling online helps local companies develop a national (or even global) brand. Our company is currently preparing a national franchise rollout, and there has been no better way to promulgate information about Kalologie Skincare than through online sales.

  5. What web sites or online tools or resources would you not be able to live without?
    MonsterCommerce, Google Adwords, and Macromedia Dreamweaver
